Scores reported by ERB are sent only to responsible school officials. No data that can be attributed to particular schools or individuals will be released elsewhere without consent. Schools must maintain the confidentiality of their own test results and must protect them from access by unauthorized individuals. It is suggested that parents be requested to sign a release before transcripts are made available to other institutions. In order to maintain test security, under no circumstances are tests or parts of tests to be shared with parents or unauthorized staff. ERB complies with the practices suggested by the American Psychological Association for the sale of tests and related materials. If there is evidence of misuse of tests or test results by schools or individuals (including but not limited to copying or using test items for practice, providing or suggesting correct answers), ERB reserves the right to discontinue the sale of materials to such schools or individuals until the misuse is corrected. ERB also endorses the Code of Fair Practices in Education as prepared by the Joint Committee on Testing Practices. Report suspected misuse to (800) 989-3721 x2616.
