Assessing early development
What is the ECAA?
The Early Childhood Admission Assessment (ECAA) is a comprehensive assessment program serving our earliest of learners. As with all of our educational tools, our products and services continually evolve to best support our member schools.
One-to-One assessment: A child-friendly assessment administered by professionals trained in assessment, utilizing ERB adapted versions of the WPPSI-III, WISC-IV, and portions of the ERB developed CTP (Comprehensive Testing Program).
NOTE: Testing is solely for admission to participating schools. Students may not be tested for practice or for parents’ information only, and they may be tested only once during a given admission season.
Features and Benefits of ECAA One-to-One
- Child-centered and engaging tools that are delivered by professionals trained in assessment.
- Developmentally appropriate scales that are standardized on a national population - comparing each student to similar age peers.
- Comprehensive reporting that is individualized for each student.
- Convenient administration options that are easier on the student, family, and school. Students only test once during a given admission season and those results are forwarded to multiple participating schools.
