ISEE at Home Testing

As an ERB Member School, your candidates currently have multiple ISEE At Home testing options. No matter which option you or your applicants choose to use, families can always direct their scores to you by logging into our Admission Registration System (ARS).

School-Administered

With this option, you can directly administer the ISEE to your candidates remotely using your own staff as proctors, similar to on-campus online testing. Keep reading to learn more about how this testing option works, with step-by-step instructions to support you through the administration process, as well as FAQs.

ERB-Administered

With this option, your applicants can register for a secure, on-demand at-home exam proctored by an ERB professional. Families register for testing online and all test administration is conducted by ERB.

Review the instructions below to set up and deliver the School Administered ISEE At Home to your applicants.

1

Create Test Events

ERB Member Schools who are registered ISEE Test Sites will create virtual test events in the ERB Admission Registration System (ARS). For step-by-step instructions on creating virtual test events, please download the instructions provided here.
Once test events are created, you will distribute your private, virtual event codes to your applicant families. Families will then use these event codes to register for your remote test similarly to how they would register for a standard, in-person test. They will either enter this event code when they register online in the Admission Portal or provide this event code when they register over the phone.

Interpret ISEE Score Reports

Guidelines for the Use of Scores

The ISEE can provide valuable information for school staff making admissions decisions. To ensure that scores are interpreted and utilized correctly in your admissions process, please review and adhere to the below Guidelines for Use of ISEE Scores document.

Accommodations

Due to the nature of at-home testing, not all of the ISEE testing accommodation options can be offered in the home environment. Schools that plan to administer at-home testing may want to consider this when offering this option to their applicants.

ISEE Online Test Administrator's Manual

Although all of the information that testing staff should need to administer at-home tests can be found in the guides above, the traditional ISEE Online Test Administrator's Manual can also be found in the ERB Member Profile under 'Help and Resources.'
