Spence School
We look forward to welcoming you to The Spence School. Our campus is on the Upper East Side in Manhattan and includes buildings on 91st Street and 93rd Street, off Madison Avenue, and also the facility we call “412” on 90th, between 1st and York. 412, which opened in January 2021, includes a gym that accommodates over 500 spectators, squash courts, a student café, a large multi-purpose room, and the Brizendine Ecology Center. The Ecology Center includes a teaching kitchen, a classroom, a greenhouse and a garden. Our time together will give us a chance to see all of these spaces and learn more about the programmatic needs that were addressed by the purchase and design of 412. We will also talk about the Residency Program that students in grades K-12 experience annually at our Eco Center. We can also talk more broadly about Spence’s academic and extracurricular program, hopefully while enjoying the sunshine in our rooftop garden.
